The Only Bagira You Know.....is one of Curaçao's most recognized artists, voted Best Artist of Curaçao in 2024. Her portraits and murals cover the island: the airport, MCB Bank, beaches, hotels, and the walls of Otrobanda. If you've walked the neighborhood, you've likely already seen her work without knowing it.
 The Gallery by BAGIRA opened in The Village in March 2024. A 120-square-meter space where she shows her own large-format canvases alongside solo exhibitions by other local artists, which rotate several times a year. Her portraits don't depict specific people — they're faces that carry emotion and presence in a way that makes them recognizable to everyone. 
 The gallery is easy to find with its brightly painted entrance off the main village square . Inside the high ceiling and windows light up BAGIRA’s ever changing collection.. You’ll often find BAGIRA in the gallery herself, though with a growing number of projects across the island, she's sometimes easier to spot around Otrobanda than behind the gallery door. Drop in… take a seat… look around… drink it in… fair warning, the "sold" signs on her large canvases tend to appear quickly.
